I want a win, and I hope for the win, and I think we ought to win, but the pessimist in me is saying we won't get 4 on the bounce, so I'll stick with my six game prediction of 1-1 ALF - he's gotta score again sooner or later.

A right Royal goal fest, at least 4 and up to 7, no more than 2 against.

That's a version of the gambler's fallacy, Ian, but I agree.

IN for this.

Most confident i've been for any game this season (tho tbf that isn't saying too much, and i'm generally more cautious for games i'm not at anyway). 1st game since Boro have been to as well so looking forward to it a bit more than usual.

2-0 for me.

Hoop Blah
rhroyal Missing Keith Andrews. Big player for them this season. On the flip side, Ivar and Sonks are back since we last played them. Only good reviews coming in about them this season. 2-0 Reading.

Is Andrews not going to be available? Is his loan up then? That's a big bonus for us if it's the case.

I'd hoped we might try and nab him in the summer (a bit out of our price range perhaps) as he's a good alround player and one that would've fitted in with the hard working ethos but also added a bit more guile than our main two. Didn't really expect him to score quite so many goals as he has though.

According to the BBC preview Andrews "seems set to miss at least two games for Ipswich as he recovers from a hamstring injury".

Platypuss Extrapolate that over a whole season and they'd be champions In February.

Excuse me, but it isn't your place to make selective, meaningless extrapolations, that is Snowball's job and Snowball's job alone. Now kindly go forth and extrapolate.

Come on Snowball, give us some stats that prove you do not make selective meaningless extrapolations

As for the result, depends which Ipswich team turns up!

I'll settle for a 1-1

Might as well keep saying we're going to draw as it seems to be working.

1-1

floyd__streete Anyway - Reading are flying, clean sheets in 3 successive games and Ipswich's form is patchy at best.

If this doesn't equate to us squeezing a lucky draw or an away win then I will eat the milinery section of Jacksons.

I look forward to that Floyd. But lately whenever I predict a draw/defeat we win so will be happy to be wrong. A win of course will lead to the dreaded manager of the month for BM. So a banker tor Cardiff on Monday.

Crazy season, crazy league.

Win today, not lose at Cardiff and we''l have even more talk of the automatics.

Fail to win today, even lose, lose at Cardiff and we could be 13th.

And we have the fateful won the away leg hoodoo...

(Just to confirm, I think we WILL win, but I think these next two games could easily go either way...)

royal67 2-0.... ALF and Jobi to score in the 2nd half....

I'll go with this. For some reason I dread us being in a winning position at half-time.
