Fwiw, those who attend matches are only very slightly more likely, if at all, to know 'the ins and outs of the team'. You don't get a board presentation before every game, or a short run down on transfer targets from Hammond running a PowerPoint from the centre circle.

As you say, given the number of different opinions on here from those who go to most games, going regularly obviously has feck all to do with knowing what you're talking about.

I think you need to elaborate a bit more, you must have people in mind? Are we talking about how the team are playing?, specific players?, and does that mean form or attitude?. Or are you talking about what happens behind the scenes at the club?

Even if we buy Messi I won't be going to games on a regular basis. Maybe one or 2 times a year.

To clarify - I mean people who start threads about McD being out of a job - people who spout forth about the club/team etc without ever going to games - people who are happy to chip in with their two pennies worth but don't come to games despite living in the area. It just annoys me. In the same way as, "back from the game" threads are overtaken by numpties who weren't there.
