Baz Savage against West Brom was a performance to remember.........described by one hack in The Sunday Times as "Treating the ball as if it was his mortal enemy and confusing the opposition with his ineptitude."

Tony Le Mesmer I'll raise you Aaron Giametti.

1 2nd half sub appearance at Bradford. And got subbed. never played again.

Yes. In fact i'd have to trade Mark Reilly for Aaron.
He wasn't even close to being the best player at schoolboy level - how he ever managed to become a "professional footballer", god only knows! Times were tough at RFC in them days....

You could choose from all sorts of dross that played in the appalling 1982/83 season. Had Kerry Dixon not been around I shudder to think how many points we would have accrued. In view of this, I give you the one, the only, Brian Bason followed closely by Wayne Tutty.

Going back to the TB2 era, I am shocked no-one has derided Andy Gurney. How shit was he?

Set up one of the most important goals in the promotion season. For this SB will always be remembered and not classed as one of the worst players.

And how many games did this lot play in total for Reading? I would hazard a guess and say they didn't get 50 between them. May as well throw in Peter Mate for good measure.

Yes, Wayne Tutty! Not forgetting Wayne oxf*rd. I can't recall which Wayne it was, but one of them scored a goal (at Bournemouth, I think) where his shot hit a defender on the back and looped over the 'keeper's head. Pretty sure it was Tutty, and pretty sure it was the highlight of his career.

Taking you back to the promotion side of 75/76... Adrian Cooper, anyone?

Mick Conroy wasn't that bad, he made a pretty decent career for himself at Fulham. Just shows what you get when you are a club is dying on its arse and having to target the Scottish First Division for your star signings.
