Didn't realise the big part that Mark Halsey has played in my Reading-supporting life.

Stockport 1997 was my first ever game. That Sheffield United fixture was the first game I went to with my girlfriend, three days after we got together. Yes, a Valentines Day football match three days into our relationship. Imagine the romance.

Halsey has had a terrible season.
A ref who historically hardly ever sent anybody off (a bit like Foy) has been involved in major controversies this season whereas in the past he was always Mr Uncontroversial.
Expect (as with most weeks)many decisions that we feel are wrong,especially the big ones.
