1. The journalists don't do enough research on weaker teams (its very true, they dont)
2. The supposed high quality games which are actually crap (the majority of which are when we are involved)

The unevenness of it. It's like 5 little leagues in one. You have your Man Us, Chelsea's etc then your also rans Everton, Spurs. Swansea belong to a league in themselves. Then you have the middle ground the Stokes etc and then the continous shit where we find ourselves. Let's be honest how exciting is being a Wigan fan they can't even fill there ground but they always use to against us in the Chump

I don't think Wigan ever filled their ground against us, except that game when they won promotion. Agreed though, it must be dull watching a team of ever-changing mercenaries in a half empty ground.

Oh, and for me it's the ticket prices. £40 to watch my club? They can sell the ticket to somebody else then.

You'd be an idiot not to realise what the issues are, whether you watch every game or 5 minutes on MoTD. Ledge shouldn't have been picked, the team has run out of umph at completely the wrong time and the tactics were dire.

Following on from my previous post, to put it another way, all I've read this week is about how, with the sacking of McDermott, the "Reading Way" is dead and the club has lost it's soul.

Lets be honest, survival in the Premiership and doing things the "Reading Way" are mutually exclusive, not just for Reading, but for all but a handful of clubs. and that is the shittest thing about the Premiership.

Is it only me but this season nearly every team coming to the Mad Stad seem to play the same way-they zip the ball round in front of us at high speed and just wait for an opening/mistake then really go for it -until the last ten minutes I was really bored with Chelsea but so many other teams play in this "continental " style. The exceptions were Man Utd (who just go for it-bit of a comedy game really) and Wet Sham (Allardyce hoof ball).

In the Championship players do not have the passing ability and just go for it for 90 minutes, the winner is usually the team who works the hardest.

I have also thought a lot of so called top class players-Rooney/Fellaini/Benteckie etc do not really put in much of a shift-Mata for me was the exception.

I am old enough go back to the days of Best/Bowles/Currie/Charlie Cooke/Worthington/Marsh etc who really wanted to show what they could do on a football pitch.
