I haven't seen a better 94 minutes of goalkeeping before. He was absolutely outstanding today! No way back for Federici after that. Simply brilliant!

Jobi McAnuff also deserves a big mention, Guthrie, McCleary and Carrico also did us proud today.

Liverpool have been looking for another keeper all year. That's the sort of performance that convinces an oppo manager to pay big money to get you.

I hope we keep him next season. Feds can go, we'll get a few bob in and a big wage off the bill.

TBH i think the whole team played well today against a well orginised liverpool team, but AM was clearly the stand out player

Would be a shame. Barely played for us due to Feds throwing his toys out of the pram whenever he's dropped/injured.

if we offer him the first team shirt i think we could convince him to stay, not many premier league clubs are looking for anything more than a backup keeper so why would he go be backup somewhere else? or i hope thats his logic!

We'd have to find somebody to take Feds first

if we find someone to take feds then that will drop our wage bill quite a bit and im sure we could offer him a bit more, maybe not what the likes of liverpool, united, etc will pay but enough that he will want to stay with us and try to go back up first time.

With Taylor and Andersen leaving, Fed could be a (very expensive) bench warmer if we can't.

He wont be short of offers, but they wont be the big ones he was trying to prostitute himself to a couple of years ago. A West Brom might take him for £1.5m.

He's been whoring himself out for the last 4 years. Nobody wanted him. Certainly nobody will want him after the season he's had.
