I know it is a strong side but isn't this Newcastle who kept beating us last year?

Royals and Racers 4-0 Novakovich

5-0 Nevers.
Newcastle have had a man sent off

Edit: Dunno why my computer didn't show me this had already been posted! Thought Royals and Racers had gone to sleep or something

Shame the game wasn't on Sunday as if he put that performance in, he'd probably be playing tomorrow.

Nova hat trick, I would have thought he would be involved tomorrow night, difficult to see him signing another contract beyond this season if he doesn't get a chance.

U18`s league opener on Saturday saw them lose 3-2 at Brighton after leading at H-T 2-1. Melvin-Lambert and Pendlebury scored the goals

Yeah Nova’s in an odd position at the moment. Clearly too good for U23s level

I disagree. With all the players we've signed I would personally play our best 11 with the new signings to give them more opportunity to gel.

How long did Obita get on the pitch I wonder. Presume he'll just get 45 minutes and then they'll see whether there's any reaction. Then I presume he'll get an hour in the next U23.

If all goes well he might get to the first team bench in September.

Nova really should be getting game time with the first XI.

Disappointing news today- Reading U23`s are not in the International cup this season. Why, no idea.

That’s a real shame as the games against overseas opponents have been really enjoyable.

Was only brief against Wednesday but he looked really heavy footed. Think I’d rather Baldock in honesty
