QPR prediction thread

by floyd__streete » 11 Feb 2014 13:06

I will carry Adkins on my shoulders through the streets of Reading if we avoid defeat at the expensively assembled Premier League Misfits XI on Sunday. Sadly, it will be a 3-1 loss with both Doyle and Barton scoring against a side forced to either field a right back or a teenager at centre-half thanks to our self-inflicted lack of defensive options. We'll probably also have some clown sent off, most likely Akpan.

The crowd will be around the usual 16,000 mark that QPR aspire to. This crowd will not include me due to the temerity of those Rag 'n' Bone spivs charging £30 for the privilege of watching Division 2 football which is on the telly in any case.

With Austin out I can see a draw here or a narrow defeat or a narrow win for us. Does that cover the bases?

0-0, 1-0 or 0-1. In that order.

How many times have we been on the box against QPR in the last 5/6 years?

2-1 to us, the wheels are slowly coming off at the Loft and 'Arry linking himself to anyone available can hardly show his players that he has confidence in them

Christ I hope so. Sounds like he should've picked up a red yesterday.

'Arry is like one of those boiler repair blokes who seems to know what he's doing but ultimately relies on throwing expensive parts at it until it's partially fixed.

You'd be inclined to think that only some woeful finishing will prevent them from scoring against our feeble looking defence.

QPR 3-1 Reading

floyd__streete a side forced to either field a right back or a teenager at centre-half thanks to our self-inflicted lack of defensive options.

Even before Pearce's appeal was overturned, we could have selected Gorkss and Hector.

I thought that Hector was 18 or something? ROFLeseaROFLch

Pepe the Horseman 0-0, 1-0 or 0-1. In that order.

I've sat through 5 0-0 draws between Reading and QPR over the years. Always a low scoring niggly game with more sendings off than goals.

Almost with Mafff on this.

3-0. Doyle to get one and Pearce to get red carded again.

4-0 to the fakes. I was feeling more positive but then Pearce had his red card overturned.
