Good news. No doubt subsidised wages, as already stated.

Wasn't expecting that. And if he does well and seems to have improved his attitude then I'm happy to give him a chance come January. Not holding my breath though.

Is there a Send Back clause if they decide they don't want him?

Some people seem to be going a bit OTT. He was a bit of a flop but wasn't awful. Better than HRK.

Even if we are still paying 100% of wages this must be a good thing. Even Royston must realise that he is in last chance saloon for his career because if he does not improve soon no one will want him when he is out of contract next summer.

Therefore, he might step up and come good.
If so we can have him back in January like a new signing.
Or Sheff Wed might at least take his contract over for the rest of the season
or there is a remote possibility that someone might buy him in January

If he is rubbish on loan at least it will only be a few more months until we are shot of him.

I hope he does ok. Good luck Royston.

Should have kept hold of him and given him a proper run in the team to see what he can do.Most of his appearances have been cameos from the bench.I hope he does well on his loan spell and proves a lot of people wrong

How are the Wednesday fans reacting to having a galactate in their midst?

Too late for that, he's burnt all his bridges here and was never going to get near the first team again.

The only shame was that he was amazing in Football Manager 2014 and probably would have been amazing in Football Manager 2015.

He played like shit for me and I had about 5 careers with Reading... would always beat a few players then take a awful shot, about 5 times a game.

LOLWUT?

Excellent management by Adkins. Freeze the tosser out until he drives himself so nuts he has to leave.

This is a most welcome surprise I have to say. Kudos to the club for somehow offloading part of his wages for a while.

Can't see them extending the loan past Jan though.

Best TDD news eva (coz I'm down wiv da homies.)

oxf*rd off and never come back you complete spaztard waste of talent. There. I've said it.

He won't even know where the oxf*rd Steel City is and it sure a complete bugger to get to from Rotterdam. I hope your mates are sea sick on the ferry to Hull.

He's gone. Thank god. Even if we are paying his outrageous filthy lucre.

The funny thing is, Wednesday has probably bought him as a replacement for Antonio..... I'd be shitting it if I was an Owl right now.

Very similar to our reaction to him signing last summer.

For any Owls fans earwigging, you are getting a player with bags and bags of talent. However, you will have 3 major issues to contend with:

1) Getting him match fit

2) Keeping him match fit

3) Keeping his head out of his arse when the going gets anything other than easy.

Or to sum up in 5 words - good luck, you'll need it.

No - We can't afford to have any of our players red carded for punching him.
