Have been trying to decide whether to join in the half-time centre circle protest. Originally thought it was over the top but having head Clarke's press conference this morning I'm in.

Fulham can't tempt him away but he's clearly open to a move, even in the same division.. He doesn't deserve a warm reception, nor a cold one, but results must improve and fast if he wants to keep his job. The fans will jump on his back at any opportunity now, and Nigel Howe has made it clear he will judge Clarke on results, and at the moment they have to improve!

Having read the title I was hoping that this thread was going to say that people would be idiots if they didn't boo. Like "Don't be an idiot and let that dour Scottish prick piss on the club you love, rise up from your seats brothers and boo! Boo like you've never booooed before!"

Disappointed that it's not tbh.

Of course he is open to a move - he's just doing a job, and he wants to manage in the Premier League again.

I don't care that he wanted to leave but the fact that he is staying tells me that he believes we can get what he wants from us, over Fulham...so that fills me with confidence; If he has ambition then i want that here.

I won't boo, but I will tut. Quite loudly. I think he'll get what I mean.

I for one will be booing his every move!
Every time he rises from his seat in the dugout I will object and tell the knob to sit down, and when he shouts for any player to show more commitment, I will remind him of his obvious lack of it.

When he arrives at the ground I will slash his tyres and paint his car with a large Fulham badge
I will then ask him for his autograph and as he goes to sign, I will swiftly take back my pen and say "actually I have changed my mind because your a c**t"
Finally I will disagree with his entire team selection and make the entire 90 minutes as uncomfortable as possible for him.

If that makes me an idiot then so be it!

If the OP is urging fans NOT to boo on Saturday, then shouldn't the title of the thread be

"Don't be idiots. Don't boo on Saturday"?

As it reads it is suggests fans should (boo)

Confused

Why does he need to show loyalty, because he was given the freedom to overhaul the squad? Unless you didn't go to any game last season you should be well aware of how bad we actually were and an overhal was needed, regardless of who was manager. I'm sure many people in a similar situation would take the big offer.

Fulham aren't like QPR who chuck money at their problems and that is effectively their only solution, Fulham have a very similar infrastructure to ourselves, in fact they've had better recent successes with their academy. Speaking long-term we have the potential to expand our stadium to a decent Premier League size and the Bearwood Academy plans so I would say we are the better long-term project and maybe Clarke realised that.
