No Fixed Abode It was a penalty.

Ian Royal You can't really say it was a travesty of a result.

But the decisive, game-breaking incident came about thanks to one of the worst penalty decisions I have seen in years. That in itself was a travesty (for us).

Well I was perfectly in line and immediately looked to the ref fearing the worst. I have no complaints about the decision given what the ref must have seen in a split second and the time he had to make the call.

I don't expect refs to be superhuman or infallible. I expect them to avoid glaring errors. Cooper reached out and laid hand on when Bolasie was going through. There was clear intent to impede.

The fact Bolasie went down like a sack of shit, was never getting near the ball and there was minimal contact just make it soft and cause blame to be on the two players.

Shit happens. Finish a chance, it doesn't matter. Defend and play better so we're not constantly under pressure, it doesn't happen. Cooper keeps his hands to himself, it doesn't happen.

I've seen far worse pens given against us.

I think people are forgetting that on January 1st Palace
were 5th in The Premiership. They have class players.

They may not be able to buy a league win but they beat
Stoke (9th), Southampton (7th) and Spurs (2nd)
the last two of those teams away, so have a red-hot 2016 Cup pedigree.

A solid 0-2, 0-3 or 0-4 is what the tables pointed to, and we held our own
for a decent time, eventually slipping up when a 21-year old Academy
graduate failed to deal with a player who is worth 10 Million and rising.

Even Palace are admitting it wasn't a penalty

that is embarrassing. Pardew is still going on about that penalty - having just had a similar penalty decision in his favour. Just shut the fcuk up.

Really hoping for a repeat of the 84 cup final... Watford v Everton

Of course if Reading had beaten Palace our striking options for the semi would have been rather limited. Based on the squad availability yesterday Cox would have been our only experienced recognised fit and eligible striker.....
