Elm Park Kid What would be the 'worst' ties we could get, in terms of general interest?

I guess a repeat of whatever league game is before or after the tie?

Any Championship team home or away.

Yeah, got to be this.

Which would be the least-worst Championship team to get? Fulham away is always a decent day out. Or maybe Charlton away?

Hmm good question. Charlton is a decent away trip, Bristol City maybe just because Bristol is fairly decent and good for a night out after.

Forest away would definitely be worst; we're playing them twice around then already. Could be four games in three weeks

Worst would have to be Man Utd, Arsenal, City.

Followed by any Championship clubs.

Best Oxford.

Followed by Southampton (A).

Yeah, Bristol wouldn't be a bad shout either. Although they did just stick 5 past Huddersfield

Carlisle away? Haven't been there in nearly 40 years.

We'll need at least two drivers on each coach!

Personally I'd go for Rochdale or Boston at home.

IF we do get oxf*rd away, I will certainly be looking forward to the absolute twitter meltdown of the 15 year olds who miss out on tickets because those who have accumulated loads of points over the years will want to go to this one.

But remember they went to Hull away this season...someone who's been going for 40 years is irrelevant

Oh, absolutely. If we do get oxf*rd, I will certainly be getting a ticket and the last away game I went to (if my memory serves me correctly) was 25th Feb 2017 away to Brighton.

What's the away allocation at Oxford like? I was just in the bracket for the Fulham PO away game but not sure I'd get one if it was too much of a reduced allocation

Wiki says capacity is 12,500. FA Cup rules = 25% (IIRC) = 3,125

It's 15% I think so 1875.

Can actually be less if valid safety concerns are raised i.e. Man Utd only got just over half that at Arsenal last season.

Man City have been given 1,197 for the League Cup game in a few weeks

Hendo Fulham away is always a decent day out.

Considering we'll have done it 3 days earlier I'm not sure we need it in the cup

15% it is. I stand corrected.

There would be a real scramble for tickets.
