A new perspective

by Sebastian the Red » 31 Jan 2022 12:11

Just wondering if anyone has spotted that there might be a problem with leadership at the club. For my part, I think the blame should lie with the manager, and think it's perhaps time that Paunovic left.

Fed up with modern football and all the blasé attitude towards sacking managers.

Paunovic guided us to our highest finish in ages last season and you lot want him to go? Disgusting.

How would he then be able to feel smug and superior at the unhappiness of the little folk?

Exactly, he'd be amongst peers, not plebs.

Jokes like this happen sometimes and brighten the place up.

It's all a bit of fun in an otherwise depressing situation.

They might brighten you up. It certainly didn’t brighten me up.

Mind you, I guess ‘only Millsy found this funny’ is about as damning as it gets

Yeah, but no one here likes your sense of humour. All your gags fall flat on their arse.

Sometimes things falling on their arse can be quite funny - kept You've Been Framed going for a fair few years.

Oh no I thought I was hilarious!

Look - even I wouldn't/ didn't do what Seb did (as a new thread - I dick around like that all the time mid-thread) but I'm not going to get all anal and have a hissy fit about it if someone tries once in a while. Like the Pauno "shake it all about" thread etc. It's fine. This is the internet.

If I don't like something I just ignore it.

Really not that difficult.

But no, by all means, I defend peoples' right to feel like they have to read something, and have to decide to get personally offended, and have to write something negative instead of just ignoring it. That's cool. In fact I prefer it, as it genuinely makes me smile and provides entertainment seeing people get wound up by shit like that, so please continue! :)

Christ, this was really dull. Try and find a middle ground between really unfunny and really dull.
