If we get an Elm Park one, as well, I'll dig out some of my favourite Legs and Co performances.

stealthpapes Don't suppose you've got a Top 10 lowest attendances? You provide that, I'll play this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K0PiVpHvXd0, we're all good.

At the Madejski:
  1. Wed 8 Dec 1999 - Leyton Orient (LT) - 1,561
  2. Tue 30 Oct 2001 - Colchester (LT) - 2,725
  3. Tue 9 Aug 2022 - Stevenage (LC) - 4,230
  4. Sat 4 Nov 2023 - Milton Keynes (FA) - 4,325
  5. Tue 5 Sep 2000 - Leyton Orient (LC) - 4,337
  6. Wed 11 Aug 1999 - Peterborough (LC) - 4,651
  7. Tue 16 Jan 2018 - Stevenage (FA) - 4,986
  8. Tue 10 Aug 2021 - Swansea (LC) - 4,989
  9. Tue 21 Aug 2001 - Luton (LC) - 5,115
  10. Sat 17 Nov 2001 - Welling (FA) - 5,338
At Elm Park, there's little accurate data that I've been able to find for individual matches - especially once you go before the 90s (I'd probably have to purchase old football year books to get individual attendances - which I'm not going to do  ).

That said, the Royals Record site had a list:
  1. Wed 26 Oct 1938 - Watford (D3 South Cup) - 801
  2. Wed 28 Sep 1938 - Bristol City (D3 South Cup) - 1,097
  3. Wed 18 Aug 1982 - Bournemouth (LT) - 1,136
  4. Wed 20 Nov 1991 - Northampton (LT) - 1,151
  5. Tue 1 Dec 1992 - Brighton (LT) - 1,209
  6. Wed 8 Mar 1939 - Crystal Palace (D3 South Cup) - 1,218

Lowest attendance at the Mad Stad for Reading is 1561 v Orient in the associate members whatever it was called back in December 1999, Mark Bowen played his first and last game for Reading (and also his last professional game at all). Andy Bernal scored the only goal.

Could have sworn that Brighton game was announced as less than 1000 on the day - as it sticks in my mind but memory plays tricks.

It could've been - there was certainly a period when the club would want to announce lower attendances than reality to reduce the tax paid on their ticket revenues.

Don't care about the game, but any chance the club are waiting until the fixture is done to make a statement on ownership and/or Selles?

Playing with things again. That'll create more confusion in team selections for the management for the league if they win.

Nice to see Ovie back even if he’s playing in goal for Arsenal! Did he really think changing his name slightly would fool us ?
