It's like the entire team played 120 minutes yesterday and have nothing in their legs and brain fog from exhaustion.

WestYorksRoyal We'll be lucky if it's 1-0 at HT. We could/should be out of the game.

Got in at 1-0, and Cheltenham go behind on the brink of HT.

You'd hope we can't be as bad in the 2nd half, but deep down we all know we can be.

WestYorksRoyal
Sutekh All ready for Selles' one (and only) tactical ploy - Savage for Craig?

Tbf that's a sensible substitution in the situation.

Every game that's not happening it's Savage for Craig (or vice versa if Savage started). That and replacing full backs is Selles' answer to everything whether needed or not.

I'm not sure we need more tail chasing in midfield.

We need to bring the whole team back a bit and try over the top behind a hopefully slow Wycombe, or push the whole team up from GKs etc and play higher together to compete for loose and second balls.

As it is we're starting deep with a couple of players high, passing sideways under pressure with no out ball, then hoofing long inaccurately to one or two outnumbered players with no hope.

It's also down to squad limitations. Savage and Elliott are the only two options you can look to who may have a positive impact. Would love to see him be bold and do Elliott for Craig

5 point gap over Cheltenham now thanks to Oxford's late goal.

A substitution will change little. It's a game approach change that is required.

At least Wycombe should be saying 'it's only 1-0 and they can't possibly be as bad second half, will we rue those missed chances'?

 58% pass accuracy from Wycombe and 63% from us.

That is spectacularly bad football.

Snowflake Royal This is where Selles is really shit. He's been tactically out thought and he'll have no response.

We're just doing exactly the same thing and hoping it'll miraculously start working.

That's what young managers are taught in their coaching courses. Stick to plan A and don't change.

Yes, you or someone else has said that before.

It was obvious nonsense when Selles was using 4-2-2-2 and its obvious nonsense now.

Selles has already learnt the lesson that advice is pure bullshit. Or should have.

Precisely, we'd be relegated by now following that advice.

Savage coming on. And Elliott.

For the tediously predictable Craig and Ehibhatiomhan.

It's not though. He's still playing the same style of play, same subs, same tempo just a different formation.

I've heard it from people who have actually taken their coaching badges so I'll take their word rather than Cambridges number one radio listener.

Results in our favour around us. Golden opportunity if we can turn this around.

Well it's either bad advice, or advice you've heard out of context you don’t understand.

Completely changed our tempo and approach and much improved.

Just wish Knibbs would pay attention, that's two good passes to him he's watched roll away to Wycombe.
