St Pauli As it stands we’re safe- Port Vale will never beat our goal difference.

Change Port Vale to Cheltenham

They're losing so can't catch us.

Burton & Cheltenham are playing each other on Tuesday. Both can't catch us.

We're mathematically safe as it stands

And back to 2-2... God Button is not it.

That being said, while it was a great shot from Wing, that was made by Mbengue's great run then winning the rebound header.

Is there a "most frustrating player" award this season?

Admittedly, we've scored a ridiculous number of screamers this season.

But if the forwards would just play more for each other and try to set up easy chances rather than smash it in from 20+ yards all the time, we'd have won this comfortably.

Even if they weren't we'd be safe wouldn't we? Bar a 24 goal swing.

Tim and Mick seem to be oblivious to the fact anyway.

Exter 4-2 up now, Shrews 2 down and Lincoln are on their way to a first defeat in 16.

Why are we talking about safety if we win when we have another 2 points iirc suspended which will likely come off?

It's infuriating.

"The best we could hope for was Reading staying up bar a big GD swing." Nope.

FT 2-2.

With Port Vale and Cheltenham both losing that means Reading are now 10 (TEN) points clear of the bottom 4. Port Vale (21st) don't have enough games left to be able to reach 50 points and Cheltenham can only do so if they win all 4 games they have left but would have to make a good 20 goal or so swing in the process and hope Reading lose both their last games, therefore, effectively, they can't get above Reading either so I'd say Reading are now 100% safe unless Dai produces another piece of stupidity.

Burton have 3 games left and can get to 52 points so if they lose at home to Cheltenham on Tuesday then Reading will be mathematically safe rather than just "realistically" safe. A Burton win means Reading will need just 1 point from Burton to be mathematical.
