How bizarre. I think only now that I see us NOT involved with and against the teams we have been most familiar with over the last 84 years has our promotion finally sunk in for me.
*I'm sure I'll have gotten over it a fortnight from now

firstdivision But I still can't quite come to terms with playing liverpool, man u, chelsea and arsenal yet so am still a bit starstruck.

We've only played Newcastle in the cup in recent times (late 80's and early 90's).
We've been in the same league as Aston Villa back in 70-71 which I can just about remember.

Finchley Royal Good call. A trip to Underhill allows a sneaky pint in the Dignity beforehand.
Saw Barnet v Wycombe last year. Hessenthaler rolling back the years.
Also, Reading res v Arsenal res at Underhill in March 2007 I think.
