Some very interesting insights that the media here don't seem to bothered about finding out, and a few clues as to why the team gels so well together on the pitch.

Many thanks for that.

Kevin Doyle We all get on well together, English, Irish, Welsh, French and Icelandic.

Er, as far as I know we have no French players in the 1st team squad.

Perhaps he should have said Africans instead.

Sonko's pretty much French. Born in Senegal, but moved to France when he was six months old. In most people's book that makes him French. He can still play for the France national side (although may not be good enough!).

Sonko may have grown up in France, but he still is Senegalese.

And what about guys like Bikey? He's from Cameroon, but to lump him in the French bracket just because he can speak French is a bit disrespectful.

Perhaps you should stop spending so much time in the Bournemouth nightclubs, in the hope you might spot Leroy Lita misbehaving, so that you can get some decent sleep.

Perhaps you should piss off to Ashburton Grove, where I'm sure you'll be very happy.

Perhaps he was refering to spoken language?

I believe that the Irish and Welsh speak English in their countries.

Yes, there is that, but English is spoken more than Welsh, I would imagine.
