Tamworth_Royal I just wonder if Halford hasn't been on the bench not to a antagonise the faint hope that Sidwell might sign a new contract.

Have to agree, ok so he has had a couple of quiet games, but I was actually very happy with his contribution today, he was very unlucky not to score. Some people seem to forget that he scored 2 goals against villa and set up leroy's first goal v man city and couple of weeks ago. Make no mistake, Sidwell is a key member of the team and will play. The contract issue will sort itself out one way or another. For now he is a Reading player and in the team so support him.shadesrwrf Comedy post of the day.

No, Halford hasn't been on the bench because he's not ready to play first team football yet.

Yes but my point is Sidwell would be upset if the newbie (on the bench) threaten his place at any point in the match ie subbed.AthleticoSpizzCopps is biding his time...it'll comeTamworth_RoyalshadesrwrfTamworth_Royal I just wonder if Halford hasn't been on the bench not to a antagonise the faint hope that Sidwell might sign a new contract.
