by kirkrich » 05 Mar 2007 11:42

Some time ago, someone posted a link on here which you could find out what the date of the first match you went to was. Can whoever it was please put it on again, or point me in the right direction. Thanks

If you know which teams were involved you should be able to find it on soccerbase.com.

Was too young to remember.

My footy memory is awful. I had to ask the guy I go to matches with whether we'd beaten Man City ealier in the season!!

All footbal games meld into one for me and I can't hold them in my head. Yet a Blades-supporting mate can remember eveything that happened in every game he's ever watched. You mention any random player and you'll get "he played for X in our 3-2 defeat at X in '96 and scored with a farpost header in the 85th minute...the b*stard"....

seriously, how do people rememeber these things?? Last season is a almost a blank for me

Its just something I can relate to for RFC. I'm as you say, someone who remembers things for the most random of reasons, name a game I've been too and I'll give you the score and scorers etc

My first game was a trip to Wembley for the Simod Cup final and my second was the 1995 Play Offs, but after that I was quite busy so didn't make it to another game until the 2001 Play Off Final in Cardiff.

I've got a season ticket this year though so I've been to half a dozen games. URZ!
