RG30 Leroy Lita today confirmed his transfer to the Royals after agreeing personal terms and passing his medical. The details of the deal have now been disclosed and reveal that Lita will go down in history as Reading's first million pound signing. Reading will pay exactly £1M for Lita, who leaves Bristol City after a very successful start to his career where he scored 38 goals after turning professional in the summer of 2002. Lita takes the number eight shirt for the new season and will be hoping to put together a successful partnership with Dave Kitson up front. Depending on his appearances over the coming season the contract has a clause to extend to four years, showing Lita is a massive investment for the club.

thats interesting as i had heard that via a different source but was not particularly inclined to believe it. leroy has improved his game, but good enough for man u?

It doesn't say that the enquiry from Man Utd was for Lita! I'm sure his agent looks after a load of other players too
