Reserves V Charlton (Wed 11 Apr 07 19:00)

by M4 Junction 11 » 10 Apr 2007 09:31

Top of the table Reading are playing again Wednesday night. I can't see this being 0-0 and would expect to see a few more goals with Reading going 5 points clear.

The fringe lads might not have lifted the FA cup this particular year but the prem reserve league south trophy is in our own hands.
An open top single decker bus around the town is a must. Perhaps Sir Steve has rested players for the big clash on Wed night!
Prediction: Reading 5 Charlolton 0 (Kits 3 Doyle 1 Gunnar 1)

It will be interesting to see the team selection. I would have expected DLC, Seol and Long to be playing tomorrow night. Perhaps Coppell is saving Doyle and Kitson for this game

Halls to return for reserves

Gotta bounce back from the Villa game. Reading 4-1 Charlton.

Where's it being played?

Hopefully not just us. Here's a little incentive, you have a chance of seeing one of our strikers scoring a goal :D

I predict a 3-1 win for the Royals with at least one of the goals off a long throw from Popeye the Reading man :D

What sort of refreshments will be on offer tonight then? Only been to two other reserve games, which were both Open Days.

normally they just open lower west - £3 for adults, £1 for kids. Have usual food stalls open in ground so you can get the usual food and drinks. However as it is a school holiday, expect more than the usual 2-3k crowd and huge queues for food etc.

I am going with my 2 lads

Should be a weak team with Charlton game just gone and loanees out - poss:

1. A Fed or Anderson
2. DLC
3. Kelly
4. Karacan
5. Bennett
6. Bygrave
7. Halls
8. Halford
9. Church
10. Robson-Kanu or maybe Long
11. Bozanic
