"Reading's Lita hit by FA charge"

The Football Association has charged Reading striker Leroy Lita with violent conduct following an incident in the match against Charlton on 9 April.
Referee Graham Poll missed the off-the-ball altercation involving Lita and Charlton's Talal El Karkouri.

"Having reviewed video footage (referee Graham Poll) expressed his view that the incident warranted a red card," said an FA statement.

"Lita has until 1800 BST on 12 April to admit or deny the charge."

A disciplinary commission will hear the case on 13 April.
