This probably says more about Coppell than it does about Hunt.

Cookie In his Match Of The Day interview Steve Coppell said he wouldn't mind ELEVEN Stephen Hunts in his team.

which is pretty much the same synopsis (of the fellah) that the Brentford Fans gave us about him a few years ago.Skin Hunt gets stuck in and does a job of chasing balls down, running with the ball and taking on players, crossing into the box from out wide.
He doesn't get it right all the time but the commitment and effort he puts into his game is something the majority of the rest of the squad lack in abundance

Alan Partridge Hunt played well for the first 20 minutes, then was toilet as usual. The free kick second half sums him up perfectly.

"We've a big game on Sunday against Bolton, a big game against Marseille [in the Champions League on Tuesday week] and a big game with our neighbours to the east [Manchester United on December 16] and the main thing is the team is playing better."
