Royal Lady There's no reason at all to get rid of Coppell. You should be ashamed of yourself. He can only work with what he's given or allowed to buy and that is the problem at the moment, not him.
Royal Lady I agree with you about Coppell, I thought it a while back. He HAS taken us as far as he can imho, at least unless he is able to spend big as detailed above.

RoyalwasterRoyal RotherRoyal Lady I'd try and enjoy this season as much as possible, gentlemen, I truly think Sir Steve will want out at end of the season, whether we stay up or not and if our wage plan continues to stay the same, once we're relegated, we'll never return.
Absolute bloody nonsense. That's the whole point of the financial constraints on the management of the club - it is to ensure that should we get relegated everything is in place to ensure that we can bounce back. Madejski is securing the long-term future of the club. That might not suit everybody; obviously there are many supporters who think now we are here the best way of securing the future is to spend everything we possibly can on playing staff to ensure we stay in the PL to keep getting the Sky etc. money. JM obviously doesn't agree that is the best way to run the business and neither do I. This isn't about taking risks with the future, it is about securing it!
Okay, maybe we are paying wages more in line with the Championship but that is hardly going to stop us from succeeding in the Championship is it?
Financially we will be stable, and we have the stadium, the academy set up, the facilities etc. that are worthy of a Premier League club.
Your doom and gloom is tiresome.
Totally agree - at last one voice of reason. I also doubt that SC is fighting against the board. I think he very much sees eye to eye with it and agrees with the policy. There's been absolutely no evidence of him moaning about not being able to sign players because of the club's wage structure. Quite opposite I'd say.

Shorey? god help me...... Doyle?Alan Partridge Coppell Out? Nah.
But questions should be asked of his utterly tiresome team selection, the fact that he never brings subs on until it's far too late (another 3mins for Long today) and today's lineup and tactics were so bad that in itself should question anyone's sanity!![]()

There isn't anyone out there who could manage this squad of players any better, The problem is that some of these players just aren't good enough anymore.
