boooing

by bottom left hand corner » 12 Apr 2008 17:45

Why did people booo at half time, booo Oster and booo at the end?

I mean they deserved it but it won’t do them a world of good I think that is as disgraceful as the reading performance today.

Because for the fortunes we pay, you have a right to at least see some commitment.

I didn't boo but can we understand those who did. That was utterly disgraceful

I think you've just answered your own question.

Oster should never play for us again and Coppell's tactics and team selection are nothing short of shambolic.

Drop the only player who can hold the ball up, defend from set pieces and make your midfield not look quite as shit as it really is, play with no wings and to top it all off, take off the only player in your midfield capable of picking a pass at the end.

Oster did not play badly today and doesn't deserve to be the scapegoat on this occasion.

People who say that Marek is so good and the other players can't see his vision and passing. Well today I don't think he knew what he was doing. Abysmal.

You answered your own question!

Utterly pathetic performance today.

Coppell hasn't a clue how to deal with this. He's playing Doyle and Oster and neither should be starting games. This result puts us firmly back in a relegation battle and we don't look likely to win one more game = relegated.

People have a right to boo, especially after a performance like that, but is booing during the game really going to help anything? Oster is the latest target, he was no worse than the rest today. Still people pay their money so they can do what they want, but I'd rather Reading fans put some energy into supporting the team (support was appalling today in the second half), and booing only at the end if it was necessary.

LOLZ at the people looking round at Schards and his bro when they voiced their opinions of the team at the end of the game, using a couple of choice words. If you want to sit in fecking silence for 90 minutes, sit in a darkened room somewhere, you passionless bunch.

And U.S. TV agrees with you, as well as asking why is Lita not at the club?
I was at home watching it on TV and I even left when the 2nd went in, whilst booing (actually, that's polite for what i really said).

Christ! surely a complete bigot like you can see that Oster was by no means the worst player on the pitch today?!! For starters he put in a fantastic cross that Terry 'Blankety Blank' Doyle still managed to miss!

Apparently Kitson was either allowed to leave or stormed out of the dressing room long before the rest of the players. If the latter, little wonder as Coppell appears as blindly prejudice about Doyle as you are about Oster.

Agree with you first comment but not with the 2nd. MM lost his way in the 2nd half but he was head and shoulders above everyone else in the 1st. If you've only got one player in the team who can pass a ball accurately he's likely to dragged down to others' level after a while. I felt sorry for him today.

Kitson is an utter disgrace if he walked out today.

This is a time to stick together not do a "Lita"

If every player is expected to bend over and toe the increasingly ridiculous line that is Reading FC and its management then I'm not surprised players like Lita and Kitson kick up.

We saw it a month or so ago, players arguing on the pitch, then again at Newcastle and now we hear this. The dressing room is in tatters, no team spirit, everyone blaming everyone...... Down!

Get over yourself - you don't drop your best forward and ignore the very reason why he hasn't scored, which by the way is:

JOHN OSTER, JAMES HARPER AND STEPHEN HUNT ARE ALL SHIT AND WILL NEVER BE GOOD ENOUGH TO PLAY ABOVE THE CHAMPIONSHIP.

Doyle's done loads to justify his place in the first team btw - I have no idea why Kitson's angry, boooo Kitson, you're a disgrace.

I hope a decent team come in for Kitson in the summer - he deserves Premiership football far more than Reading Football Club.
