Sarah Star His heart wasn't at Reading so he oxf*rded off.

So? Maybe he wanted a shit load of money - and? I would to.

If I worked for a company (another big heartless organisation) and was getting paid £15'000, and after 2 years of working hard, a much much better job came along offering £30'000 I wouldn't turn it down.

Idiotic point of view.

Sorry.

Ignore me. My voice is shrill and I'm only putting down what my boyfriend said so I can look good in the company of men, but it made me laugh at the time.

rotherwick_royal Chelsea have finally agreed terms with Villa for Sidwell. No doubt he will feature in the pre-season friendly against us, fitness permitting.

What kind of reception will he get I wonder?

None i should imagine. I'll be going to give our boys a reception.

Royal Lady Depends which old days you're wanting to choose - Sanch bettered himself, Senior bettered himself, lots of players did - those two are just off the top of my head.

Boro/Watford - Wimbledon - Not really a massive step up even then?

CMRoyal Erm...he's been back already - easy to forget, he was completely anonymous for Chelsea in the first half of the first home game of last season. "Sidwell, what's the score?" and all that. Must admit we got to the match late, so I'm not sure what the initial reception was like, but from what I recall he was treated to good natured ribbing every time our boys (usually Cisse, I think) got the better of him during the match.

I'd completely forgotten about that and I was there, shows just how much of an impact he had on the game.

Poor Siddy.
He'll have to be put under the giant binlid of a manager that is O'Neill, the man who refuses to sell his players without a crazy-high price being paid.
He can expect to live his career out at AV if he plays as well as he did for us.

Why did he get sent off? Two yellows. The second one was given because of a dive by Pizzaro. Replays show there was no contact.

Sidwell scores his first goal for Villa.

Maybe a long term injury could be next on the horizon.

Oh. I thought Middlesbrough and Wimbledon were both in the top flight at that time, and Reading weren't.

Think I will try to make it to this game now. Can't think of a better way to spend £10. Hope it cheers me up for the season to come.

Might act as a bit of a wake up call for the Chairman.

There's a rumour doing the rounds that the two have already fallen out and Sidders wants away with MON agreeing to move him on but only if someone will match what they paid for him.
