Judging by tonights performance he needs to stay on his feet and manage to beat the first line of defence with his crosses. He did combine pretty well with Rosenior though and took his goal well so it wasn't all bad.

Kebe - apart from the goal which was presumably a fluke - was absolutely atrocious tonight. Only RFC would sign a player on the basis of his pace and then hope that he develops some footballing ability.

Sonko was signed on the basis of raw physical attributes and he turned out ok!

Ok hoe your prediction comes true. If i remember rightly we won all our pre season games well 3 years ago before 99gls/106pts season so 9-0 against didcot looks good and convey had a blinder that season from nowhere so no reason KEBE can't do it next season....... song....Phil hit the > button on this link ...the old TOTP song YELLOW PEARL by PL (rip)

.......... ATTACK .. ATTACK ........... ATTACK ..... THAT'S WHAT WE LACK... ....

..............I wish we could return to the days of attacking with 5 ... 4 in the box but now with a Kebe cross ?

Should we make Jimmy Kebe the captain?

by Trev » 16 Jul 2008 01:42

After his first goal in a Reading shirt (and probably his first goal of all time, including playing football in his back garden) should we make the boy captain? After his first goal he will be full of confidence and if we made him captain his confidence would only boost further.

I think it could be worth a shot.

Please discuss....

You obviously have every right to make your tediously critical comments as you went to the game, but WHY? For the love of God, why put yourself through it?

Here's a challenge - can you post something positive about the performance from the players last night? I promise it won't cost you anything.

floyd__street, YES it was actually floyd__street Two decent strikes for the goals. I thought that Sigurdsson and particularly Karacan were very good. Convey showed some nice touches.

I'm sure something just shifted in the universe.

I have already acknowledged FS's perfect right to express his opinion. If I was sniping at the players from the comfort of an armchair you might have a point. But I'm not so you don't.

Now, do you have anything to offer on the subject of Jimmy Kebe yourself?

You see, that's a direct question, asking you for an opinion.

Which floyd told you exactly how Kebe played last night. He looks awful from the cameo's I've seen.
