Bit brave by the FA to not have someone who's officiated hardly any games this season.

Or is it stupid?

Can't help but think we needed a more experienced ref for this game.

There's definitely something fishy about the appointment of those officials.

This game is crying out for an experienced referee. A game as big as this one is not what a referee with 17 games of Football League experience should be taking charge of. The FA need to be shot for appointing him to this game. I only hope this guy's a homer, as most ref's seem to be.

I suppose the argument would be that both Reading and Wolves are not considered to be dirty physical sides with disciplinary problems, but sides that play football.
I know Rosenior messed up and we have had a few Red Cards (most of which were dubious) but Coppell does appear to install a degree of respect to the officials through his team.
Perhaps that is our undoing sometimes.
I digress.

What I am getting at is, that this is a high profile game and not one that has a history of grief on the pitch and perhaps for an up and coming ref this is a good test for him for what should be a free flowing entertaining game.

I`m sure that my comments will come back and bite me on the backside, but I think you get my drift.

We will have to wait and see

We've had experienced refs before and seen plenty of poor decisions.

There doesn;t seem to be a correlation between number of games and getting things rights so he'll probably be fine.

"fine" would be an improvement on most of the experienced refs

What about this for a fine example though?

Personally I hope the ref has a shocker and awards us 2 penalties, sends of their 'keeper and gives a ghost goal in an 8-0 home victory!
