Forest Gump He is obviously an intelligent bloke. Most pundits rate him as a very canny / astute / clever manager.
So why then, for the third season during his reign at the Club have we seen a spectacular collapse in form during the second half of the season.
And why does nothing appear to be done. The answer: Steve Coppell does not know how or why the team were playing so well - therefore he has no clue what to do about them doing so badly. He does not know how to manage
Soon after he leaves we'll find out what went wrong.

SteveRoyal Fool.
It's the bunch of players we have.
They are either distracted by the press attention during the January transfer window, lose steam, or are just plain lazy.
I think that's why Coppell tried a more energetic side yesterday.
It worked, for 45 minutes.

The MVP I agree Coppell hasn't got a clue.
When I was manager of Reading on Football Manager I got Reading into the Champions League. That's more than Coppell has done for us.
COPPELL OUT!

rg6royal One thing I know Coppell doesn't have a clue about is when to make subs!!!

Turns8 It's plain for all to see that it is the attitude of some of the players which is letting the side down...
You only need to look at the body language on the pitch...Kebe in his deck chair lapping up the sun yesterday...the daydreamer that is Andre Bikey...Shunt need I say anymore...
No matter how hard Coppell works on things in the week, if the 11 that get picked can't be bothered there is nothing he can do about it...

Remind me, who is responsible for the players we have, having been here nearly 6 years?
