Had an easy game last time he was here as Nolan and Ameobi did most of the refereeing.

Surely it can't be right for him to referee 2 consecutive games for the same team (in this instance Scunthorpe)?

Also didn't he send Rosenior off vs Swansea? And I'm certain there was a red in the game vs Newcastle....who will get the red on Saturday? My money is on Griffin

Last season against Newcastle, I don't think there was.

However, Barton was on a booking and absolutely nailed Karacan(?) early in the second half, iirc.

My memory of the first game was that they somewhat bullied our midfield and defence - not dirty, just a bit tougher, making sure 50:50's were contested, that sort of thing. Just in the realms of fairness but a harsher ref might have made a few more bookings.

Yep - loads of niggly fouls and dissent. Remember him booking one of them and he refused to come to the ref, so the ref went to him in then end. Spineless!

Smith should have gone for a tackle in the first half.

This Plum could ruin the start of my season.

Also failed to book Ameobi for aiming a kick at Feds as he went to clear.

Just two yellow cards (both Scunthorpe) all match.
