Royals Footy Phone In on BBC R Berks Fri 15 Dec

by BBC Radio Berkshire » 11 Dec 2006 16:50

Dear All,

In an unprecedented fit of organisation, we are proud to confirm our phone in guest for Friday (15 Dec) on a Monday !

Royals assistant manager Kevin Dillon will be coming in.

Feel free to submit the same questions as a few weeks ago when Kevin sadly had a last minute family matter to deal with.

All the best

I should like to ask Mr Dillon - why did Glenn not feature in the Watford game until the last minute? Who's decision was this and why? and what was your honest opinion of the way we played.

If we were to play like that against Chelsea, will the club be reimbursing the cost of our tickets?

Which Kevin do you prefer - Kevin Costner, Kevin Keegan or Kevin from Kevin and Perry Go Large?

Dirk Gently Which is your favourite Dylan : Bob Dylan, Dylan Thomas or Dylan the hippy rabbit from the magic roundabout?

Dear Kevin

do you ever visit websites, and what do you think of some of the bone questions asked from them?

seriously, (from the NLP concept)

name five footballing people that you would hate to have round for dinner?

Emre for 1

Moronho for 2 (in no order of preferrence....of course)

Kevin,

Have you ever considered a vocation in the priesthood? I'm sure that you would have an excellent chance of getting in considering that an anagram of your name is NO DEVIL LINK.

This might of course work against you if you had any intention of becomming a satanist.

Kevin,

Have you ever considered becomming a satanist?

If you did, might I suggest that you change your name by deed poll to Noel Avitas, which remarkably, is an anagram of I LOVE SATAN

Kevin,

Have you ever considered a job at the North Pole?

From the original thread.

- Kevin, is it true that you once said - "Pompey are the best club I've played for and I also played for Newcastle, Birmingham and Reading. That's not just for football, but for everything, especially the fans"? Taking not just football but everything, especially the fans what would your answer to the same question be today?

- Who gave you your first big break as a player and who has most influenced your career?

Kev, how do you find the time to coach a top half premier league side and co-star in the succesful HBO show entourage? In a related note, if your brother was far more succesful than you would you revel in his glory or try to make it on your own?

Surprisingly not actually as all Kevin has to do is move and reverse the first word and thus its a case of DEVIL LINK ON - so which way will you go Kevin?

Hi Kev, hope all is well for you and Mrs Kev and any little Kevs.

......

Red or blue bounties?

When you were a player who was the manager who most impressed you or from whom you learned most?

As a player you had a reputation for being a bit of hard man, do you think this was justified?

Along with Steve you have a one year deal, do find that as comfortable as Mr Coppell to work with?

If you found a Llama in your bedroom would you just ignore it and leave it for someone else to deal with or would immediately call the local Llama removal service?

What day to day aspects of training and management do you look after?

Can you give any cryptic hints as to players we're looking to sign in January?

What has impressed and disappointed you most about the Premiership so far this season?

How far away are Jon Hayes, James Henry and Alex Pearce from the first team (bench) as all have impressed in most reserve games I've seen.

Did you ever get to look into Jimmy Quinn's biscuit tin? If so what biscuits did he have have in there?

Kevin, if you became the worlds most successful manager ever in the entire history of everything ever, people would probably treat you with messianic fervour, so much so that when you died they'd choose a sacred religious site for you and bury you under a small rounded hill just as great warriors were laid to rest thousands of years ago.

If so this would be remarkable as your name is an anagram of DIVINE KNOLL.

Kevin, if your family consisted entirely of dwarves would you ever consider moving them en masse to torquay?

If so this would be remarkable as your name is an anagram of LIL DEVON KIN

Do you have ambitions to oneday take over from Steve Coppell?

Would you consider joining a lesser team such as West Ham or Chelsea?

Which former players, apart from yourself, do you think could force their way into today's starting lineup if they were at their Reading best? (Don't feel you have to say Nicky Hammond just because he's Director of Football.)

When does Steve Coppell announce to the starting lineup to the players?

Do you and the coaches ever have differing views to Steve Coppell and if so, what normally happens?
