Mr Barlow Does anyone know if there are any plans to have standing areas at the mad stad when the capacity is increased?

Winchester Royal No.
The top dogs at the club don't want us to have a standing area, and for that reason alone, we won't get one, even if legislation changed.

JC It will never happen at the MadStad. The angle of the stands is far too steep to support standing areas as it would be too dangerous and I cannot see how that could be changed

readingfc_4_life_and_beyo Although tickets would be about £4 less expensive in the Standing areas surely the amount of space each person takes up would mean room for more supporters, which could increase revenue...
Something to think about IF it is allowed, and if they don't make the capacity the same size.

Winchester Royal I'm know for a fact you can fit more people in a standing area.
People moving about is a load of rubbish!

biscuitman No plans at all. How could they have standing in the upper tier of the east stand?
