SLAMMED
Royals-lad14 we have according to the ticket office who emailed me at 4pm sold 952 for lower tier and 732 for upper tier which is pretty piss poor for our first away game back in prem even with the stupid prices

Still 2 weeks to go tbf.

true would expect us to sell about 2000

Upper stand row 7. Couldn't care less about price/number of away fans, it's a pretty local away match in the Premier League against the CL winners...

Upper Tier, Row 3 for me.

If it's true that we've only sold about 1,500 tickets that's a bit disappointing, but I imagine sales will pick up as the season approaches/once it has started. Or maybe people are just put off by the ridiculous prices.

I can understand those that are not, especially as its on telly

I'm going upper tier 50 notes! I must be daft, because the evening, with train fare, food and drinks will be costing me a flippin fortune

It'll be online everywhere as it's the only game on apart from some Champions League play-offs so don't blame people.

Looks like we'll probably sell out the lower tier but the upper you'll be able to sit where you want :x

IIRC every premier league game is online everywhere.

I still have the three tickets available for Chelsea. 1 adult and 2 U18 (or over 65). Open to offers if face value is too much for some.

And it's exactly this pervasive attitude that means clubs like Chelsea will continue to charge utterly ludicrous prices for a run-of-the-mill game against the likes of Reading.

You'll do well to find the lesser games still when most of the games are Saturday 3pm on a certain week.

47 quid is a joke but this is 1.5 miles from me and every reading home game costs me more than that with travel...

^ That's a good point. I just jump on a tube to get to their place rather than a tube, then train-fare to the Royal County. Even there I have to get that bus from the Nag's which is another £3

Anyone know if I'll be able to pay on the gate for Chelsea?
