Bandini
Tommy Youlden's Ears errr is 1 good or bad?

We have to number Anton/TSI/Mr Mad/Brian/Hammond/Poyet in the order they're standing from left to right and then place those numbers in order of who we trust the most to least.

Here's the image, to help you out

Higher than I expected...

Most frequent response is 8/10, followed by 6/10, then 5/10 and 0/10 are equal.

You talk total rubbish, Ideal.

Most other fans could not give two shits about our club, same goes for fans of our club and what goes on elsewhere.

I do not believe they are.
Our recently departed manager was successful, and would have rebuilt the team and brought us back up.

Seem to remember people saying exactly the same about Coppell who was a lot more successful (in the PL) than McDermott.

2/10

Not long ago I had 10/10 trust but this shambolic situation has really confused me. Sacking Brian was a very odd move and a potentially exciting departure from the Readng Way on the assumption we had a top man like possibly Poyet, Curbs, Adkins ready to take over.

New we're left managerless I'm completely confused and have very little trust in the running of the club.

The little trust I do have is in the hope that Curbishley, Adkins or someone vaguely good will come before the end of the season.

Agree totally.

The "Reading" way has been thrown out of the window. The club is now just another rich boys play thing. Totally clueless way of running a football club.

Like the UK economy. Football as a whole is in a financial mess. Overpaid players, falling attendances. Time to take it back to grass roots. Give the clubs back to the supporters.

And Coppell would have succeeded if we'd have beaten Birmingham on the last day of the season, or if we'd have been given a few of the penalties we deserved when teams started chopping Doyle down.

I trust Anton exactly π.

I really hope that Anton surprises us all with a stroke of genius and lands the required name to manage the club I have supported for past 50+ years.
I really hope that this name is our saviour from relegation or at least will be our guide to automatic promotion next season.
I really hope that Eamon or new the manager will be able to turn around the ability and likely shaken confidence of our players.
I really hope we can finish the season playing good football with all the pundits loving our contribution to the EPL - e.g. "its Reading time"
I also still hope there is a God, Father Christmas and Toothfairy.

Sadly I am too old (some might say cynical) to believe that can all these can happen/exist.

I still firmly believe that sacking Brian was a bad mistake and we are now seeing Anton /TSI short on options to get Reading out of the current uncertainty. I will gladly clutch at any kernel of hope that I am wrong but right now the article attached sums up the whole sorry saga.

Its sad to see us making the news for the wrong reasons i.e. not about our football. My current trust for Anton is a very generous 2 out of 10.

This next 14 months are vital for the club, the new manager(when appointed) and especially Anton. I do have faith in him, I also applauded him getting rid of McDermott, even though it was 3 months too late, now he must steer the club in the right direction.

I gave him 8/10 so far.

Good article and couldn't agree more.

Whatever your views on McDermott, this is a staggeringly poor way to run a football club.

Forget moving on, this farce could undermine much of what was achieved under SJM. If it's true the chairman and the DoF wanted Brian to stay, it doesn't bode well for the future of a strong management team that has been developed over many years and has consistently got the club to achieve far more than resources would have suggested possible.

The silence has been deafening since we became managerless just when he with the big wallet needed to show some leadership. The fact Nick Hammond has been so quiet concerns me even more.

I'm starting to place a much higher value on the Chairman's minority holding.

I trust them implicitly, but wish they'd gone after Adkins quicker.

maffff Out of interest, with everything that's going on recently there seems to be quite a lot of negativity directed at TSI. There is split between those pro and anti-TSI, but I can't gauge if there is general scepticism, or a vocal minority in either camp.

There are many factors

- Taking the club forward on and off the pitch
- Perception from media
- Do they really have any money
- Decision making (thus far)
- Overall feeling

So simply, on a scale of 0 to 10, how much do you trust TSI and their intentions?

Not sure if this fits into any other thread I've seen yet. And I don't really want to put it into club policies.

I trust them implicitly...

to fairly quickly ruin everything that Madejski had built up.

The phrase I've coined is Little Chelsea.

I'd be amazed if SJM supported the sacking of McD. The 30-year old panicked or got bored.

This has all the hallmarks of a Wolves scenario. As a long-standing supporter of the Club I sincerely hope I'm wrong, but I don't think I will be.

- Taking the club forward on and off the pitch - Our profile has already grown, both for good and bad, but we're being talked about nonetheless.
- Perception from media - Mixed. We'll always be little old Reading until we establish ourselves in the top flight, or win a cup.
- Do they really have any money - Who knows. SJM didn't invest much though. Most was in loans with minimal interest owed back.
- Decision making (thus far) - 8/10. Promotion earlier than expected thanks to their investment. Sharp lessons learnt on PL investment. It's early days remember.
- Overall feeling - Very pleased. To be a yo-yo club is more than we could have dreamed over 10+ years ago. The ambition is to be more than that. Bring it on!
