I imagine the London games would sell out plus Man Utd and possibly Liverpool and Man City.

Everyone seems to have forgotten how easy it was to get tickets for away games that didn't involve top 4/5 clubs last time. If you want to go to Wigan/Fulham/Stoke etc, you'll be fine!

You need to apply for one by filling out the forms. Get this from the T/O or possibly get one sent out to you. On average there is only 160 AST holders per season. The advantages are mainly the priority for away cup games. That is if we get a run in them next season.

Are away season tickets normally available in the championship or was this just a premier league thing? Been thinking about how much better away games are and thinking of one of these instead of a regluar ST.....

Yes they are, although this season you could only apply for an away season ticket if you had one the previous season. I doubt they'll restrict the sale of them again now we are back in the championship.

You can opt out of a few matches per season unless this has changed. There will be no demand for AST. The only advantage is a guaranteed ticket for each match but I doubt the demand is going to be there.

How much do these cost then? I would definitely be interested, as I only really go to away games these days. I also don't agree with season ticket holders getting priority over someone with far more points but no ST.

Plus, I think you should get more points for going to away games instead of home games, I can see why that isn't the case, but all the same...

However much the away tickets cost - it's not a prepayment for all the away games in the way a home ST is. It's a commitment to buy a tickets for ever away game (minus a possible couple of opt-outs), and your card is charged for each one at the time they're sold, at whatever the price is.

In return for agreeing to buy tickets for all of them, you're guaranteed first priority for them.

Ah I see, so there isn't a discount in any way then, like there is for a home ST? Just first priority every time?

Correct - you get tickets for each away game and you don't have to bother buying them for each game - they're automatically sent to you when available.

just remember for a high profile game, if there is two prce bands, i.e. upper tier and lower tier, you will automatically be charged for the more expensive ticket
