Pre Season Tour - Portugal

by urz13 » 12 Jun 2013 08:04

It was just on BBC Berkshire now that the club will be playing two matches in Portugal in the middle of July. Although I can't see it anywhere else so I'm starting to believe that I dreamt it :|

Portugal - Anyone else going?

by WLR » 18 Jun 2013 18:35

Hello

As a loyal Royal (All be it suspect plastic), I am looking forward to making the trip out to Portugal next month. Currently I am wondering how many of us will be making the trip.

Will we make 20/30/40?

If anyone is going, please feel free to respond via thread or PM.

Forgive me if I have asked the question in the wrong section of the forum (Moderators can feel free to move this to somewhere more appropriate).

There is a degree of sincere flattery in Baker's presence. Hope we will be remembered by the happy hammers when they are a big club in their world class taxpayers funded stadium.

Well anyway, I have been in some discussion with Belenenses and members of their supporters club, whom seem up for a friendly match between fans. They also are prepared to welcome us to their fan bar at the stadium. So if anyone is going and would be interested (And somewhat brave enough) in having a kickabout and something of a social, then get in touch and lets make it so.

It might be that our supporters club may well have a presence and already have something like this already in mind. If so, could someone from Star perhaps get in touch?

Obviously the drink at the bar is fairly easy to achieve for anyone but to arrange a friendly game between the fans will be a little more difficult....

Actually work for your mum....

Oh but on reflection maybe I am being too harsh. Perhaps you are one of life's winners and a born leader. I'm sorry perhaps I was not intelliegent enough to realise the pure genius of your critique.

Maybe you are not the ass I thought you were. Maybe you are not someone simply being a keyboard warrior or an ignoramus. Perhaps you are going and you have the knowledge of how fans are expected to behave, complete to the songs they sing, the beer they drink and know that it is simply a faux-pas to socialise or build bridges with other fans.

So by all means if you have anything of any note to say.........

Oh fuk really, I mistook his opening gambit as being somewhat playful.

Well I am now scared and if you say that he is also ginger and under 5ft I will brick it...

So you are on the look out for a guy in a suit, who is a bellend, whilst I have to be weary of a flame haired vertically challenged all round top geezer, with whom I may have got off on the wrong foot?

Or is it more friendly advice from someone who has checked the notes from the foreign office!
!
Maybe you are aware of seismic activity in the area?

Shit maybe it is safer to stay at hone
