Ticketing System Upgrade: Important Supporter Information Reading Football Club would like to inform supporters of an upcoming upgrade to our ticketing system, designed to further enhance the purchasing experience for supporters.

As part of this transition, the current ticketing website, ticketing.readingfc.co.uk, will be taken offline. Ticket sales and ticketing operations will be suspended from 12pm on Wednesday 18 February until 12pm on Friday 20 February, while the new system is installed and prepared for launch.

Tickets for Tuesday’s fixture against Bolton Wanderers at the Select Car Leasing Stadium will remain available via the current ticketing system. Supporters wishing to purchase tickets for this match should continue to use ticketing.readingfc.co.uk as normal.

From 12pm Wednesday, our fixture against Port Vale on Saturday 21 February will remain on sale over the phone only until 12pm on Friday 20 February. All other ticketed events will be unavailable during the transition period. We kindly ask supporters to remain patient and to refrain from attempting to purchase or enquire about any other tickets until the system is available again.

Need Assistance During the Changeover?
Supporters with ticketing enquiries are advised to contact the Ticket Office directly:

sales@readingfc.co.uk
0118 968 1313

Phone lines will remain open from 10am to 3pm, Wednesday to Friday, to assist with enquiries during the changeover. The Ticket Office will also be open in person and available by phone on Saturday 21 February from 10am until 1pm should any supporter require additional help.

This upgrade forms part of a wider project to enhance the Club’s ticketing services and deliver an improved experience for our supporters.

We thank supporters for their patience and understanding while this work is carried out.

Supporters may also purchase tickets on the day of the game directly from Port Vale at Turnstile 29 (Card payments only).

Club no longer operating on the Seat Geek ticketing platform and I believe are transitioning to Robo Ticket who happen to have Wycombe as one of it's clients.

Seems like a poor move, tbh. Seat Geek provided a very good service, imo.

New ticketing website is now live. The friends and family bit is an absolute mess at the moment.

Supporters are advised that loyalty points may not be visible on accounts from 12pm while final updates are completed. There is no need for concern, and all points remain recorded and will display once this process has concluded.

Hoping that's the reason. With the old site, it was really clear to see what points each of your friendship circle had. Gonna be bedlam on Monday, when people are trying to work out how to buy Luton tickets.

Why are they doing this during the league season anyway? There's always going to be some sort of teething issues with a new service.

Monday will be chaos for the ticket office.

Points are now showing on the website (click on your name). Your category (in my case '1600+') also shows there (also when you hover over 'My Account').

Has anyone worked out how to transfer a ST to a friend if you can’t make a game? It was dead easy on the old website but I’ve spent ages messing about this morning trying to do it (the new Q and A says it’s still an option but following the instructions doesn’t work).

How about friends and family? I can see my points, but can't see a way of seeing how many points my linked season tickets have? Makes it a nightmare when you're trying to buy multiple tickets for aways games where there's a points banding.

Just don't understand why they've done this three-quarters through the season with an away game coming on sale today.

I've 1600+ points, but can't buy a Luton ticket as a warning banner comes up saying only available for 1600+ points! Shambles.

Yep, that bit has worked for me. Annoyingly, my kids have lower points than me, but can't see how many they currently have and therefore when I can buy tickets for a group of us together.

I've not managed to login to the ticketing site, Firefox says the certificate is bad and the site has (misconfigured) HSTS enforced so gives me no option to connect.

Reading FC Supporter Services tweeted the correct link to the ticketing site which works.

I got the same error as you going from the Reading FC homepage.

Had the same issue. Was complaining I wasn’t a season ticket holder (when I am).

It looks like it's dependent on how it is configured the club's side. I have friends who show as family members and it reveals name etc with email address but then the vast majority show as friends so I get similar.
