katweslowski This is a ridiculous suggestion probably and obviously not feasible to do. But it would be great to have set season ticket prices which are reasonable, but with the option where some could pay more, with the idea being that there's an afforrdability aspect. With STAR and the Club ensuring that the extra funds would go directly into club facilities, like matchday improvements, stadium refurbishments, etc.

For example, I could afford to pay more and would pay more for this. A bit like when peopel were asking if you'd fund a Phoenix club. I would happily fund the club, particularly after the crisis that it looks like we're coming out of.

This has always been possible.
Years ago when I was earning silly money I bought an extra season ticket each year. Kids took it in turns to bring a friend (of whom quite a lot ended up becoming regular fans, buying their own ST etc) or I invited an adult and bought their kid a ticket.
If you can afford to pay double for a ST then buy two ! You could also enquire about having a pitchside advertising board and then donate it to a local small business or charity.
Lots of ways to put money into the club if you seriously want to.

My local team had someone 2 years ago who wanted to put money in but didn’t want the profile. He gave the equivalent of the shirt sponsorship and nominated a charity who had their name on the shirt and got loads of good publicity.

How much were season tickets at Wycombe when Couhig was there? Might be a good starting indication of the direction he might take now he owns us.

Pretty sure that use of a ST is technically in breach of the rules and it has to be for a named person, with limited transferals to others permitted.

Obviously no one will be checking unless you act the dick, but still, not 'officially' viable.

I would have thought buying advertising would be significantly more expensive than a ST, but I have no idea.

It can be done, not sure anything else matters. The season ticket T&C even tell you it can be done and how. Discussion with the club upfront ensures legality for those of an utterly pedantic nature. It would only be an issue if you were reselling the ticket or using a concession ticket for an adult.

Of course advertising is more expensive. It’s another way for someone who wants to put money into the club to do so.

That seems unnecessarily hostile as a response.

How ‘hostile’ would have been acceptable ?
Of course it’s not hostile at all.
