Magnus Standing in the rain not knowing when or even if the bus will turn up, having to go at their times and not being able to go anywhere but straight home after game?

I'm all for public transport but I can see it's not going to be everyones cup of tea.

Bah!

agreed if going out, but if you were just driving there and back on your own i see no reason why anyone would take their own car

brendywendy more people should take these buses - especially this weekend,
they are cheaper, quicker, and easier than any other form of transport to the ground.

give em a try - if you have headphones on and look at your mobile, u dont even have to look at/hear the other mongers

Five adults will cost £33 return.

No thanks, it will cost a fraction of that to drive (probably about £3 of diesel).

takes an hour less of your time, drops you at the ground, no wait to get out of carpark, no walking involved

how about that?id pay 6.50 just for the above

tbf- i imagine youll just be paying for one person each not all 33 quid.

An hour less of my time? Leave home at 2.15, park at 2.30, walk to stadium. After the game walk back to car (10 mins) and drive home (15 mins). There is no queue to get out of the car park as I park at my place of work. I am also not lazy enough to avoid a short walk.

yes, youve made it clear the bus isnt for you. i understand.

but if i go by car, and have to park in either the stadium.HP, or holiday inn i get home at least half an hour later than the bus, and i have to leave half an hour earlier. i drive on my own mostly, or with 1 other so 6.50 for the bus, is better than £8 car park, 5 pound petrol and a 15 minute walk, often in pissing rain.
so its quicker,
its cheaper,
and easier.

so for people who, unlike you dont have a free parking space, 5 other people to fill your car with, and who dont enjoy walking in the rain, i cannot understand why more people dont take the bus.

'greed, Brenders. See you in the queue tomorrow then? We can just leave our headphones plugged in and nod to each other.
