Hate to imagine how many supporters are now fighting between the 600-1599 points catergory :|

I've been to numerous away games before where the tickets haven't showed up. Just rang the ticket office and ended up picking them up from the ticket office before the game. Done this at Bramall Lane, HIllsborough and the JJB.

Aside from all the off field issues with this, such as the screwing the fans, surely having such a measley allocation amongst a stadium that by all accounts will be pretty partisan, means our on field performance could well suffer?

I wonder how many renewals will be going on. Those 255 points will lift a whole new tier into the 1600+ crew.

Every aspect of this is a shambles.

This was in response to the concerns of tickets not getting to people before the end of the week... It happens, and they have always dealt with it well.

I was so hoping that the rumours were wrong and the club were going to get further tickets.

It's a funny way to run a business, please 2,800 and let down potentially 3,000.

Like I said earlier, I hope we can get a draw at least - and then those poor fans who will miss out, will get the chance to watch the replay (which, incidentally, would be on Sat 2 April)

I hope we get the win and then thankfully it's not the club that decide on the allocation for Wembley! Please tell me if our allocation was 30,000 someone at the club won't decide that we don't need that many?

Yeah, I know that now - but people pretending they've managed to get tickets online is pretty sick don't you think?

probably already mentioned on here somewhere...nevertheless....

Man City @ Wastelands are NOT anticipating a sell-out

We are entitled to a minimum of 15% of the total seats

However, at this stage, (if Reading were to claim the 6/7k tickets that they are entitled to) they have to be paid for up front, on a potentially non-refundable basis by the club regardless of how many they do or dont sell.

The two clubs are playing the common sense game at the moment.

There will be enough for those that want tickets I'm sure

Nobody's forcing you, but it is indeed the only method to get you into the VIP ticket line.

RFC have promised tickets for all 1600+'ers so you should be ok, am I right?

So your good to go, that is unless by doing this you cause the number of 1600+'ers to rise above 2800, in which case you may well be one of the disappointed ones. So you could in fact cause your own downfall, and end up all screamy-mad at RFC.

But hopefully they've thought of all that and it'll all be ok.

I really hope you're right, but the signs are not good from what I've been reading.

philM From the o/s - No additional tickets, RFC decided way back to ask both Villa and Man City for only 2800 as they thought that would be enough. No more available, Citeh already selling adjacent blocks.

We took nearly that number to QPR. Without the coaches would we have got over 3000 travelling?

With this news, the cease fire is well and truly over.

F8**ing useless ***ts! Well run club my *rse.

And as the useless barstewards had already decided they were only going to ask for 2,800 tickets, how come they took so sodding long to sort out Royalty points banding and get them on sale? They should have been on sale Friday latest with more bands rather than pitching supporters with 1599 points in with those who have just 600. Some incredible way to reward their loyal supporters. P*ss money away on free transport for a few whilst depriving the many of the chance to even see the game.

As for all those smug mugs who were assuring us that we had got it wrong and that the club knew what they were doing, could and would get more tickets if they wanted, maybe now you will finally realise that yes, the club really can be that incompetent!

Finally, Craig Mortimer has proved himself to be a spineless toad. He must have already known the true answer when Dellor asked him about the ticket situation but lacked the testicles to tell him live on the radio.

Think you have got that totally wrong. Yes, RFC were entitled to ask for 15% but only at the outset. Once they told City they only wanted 2,8000 they lost that right and can't just go back later and demand some more.

It's been confirmed that we will only be getting 2,800, its on the OS. The club have cocked up, and it cannot be rectified because Citeh have sold seats in what would have been out area. There's no room for us all :(
