windermereROYAL Some non league sides charge more than us, I`m expecting another freeze, certainly not a raise.

Our fair-weather fickle support more so.

Kind of irrelevant what other clubs charge - more what price is optimal for bums on seats and gate takings.
Arguably it's quite an exploitative market as fans won't typically jump ship to another club to save a few quid on the gate, like they would yo say shop at Aldi Vs Tesco.

RoyalBlue And just how does forcing clubs to lose all their valuable playing assets for bugger all and, in most cases consigning the clubs to relegation as well ensure financial sustainability?

I suspect it was more a comparison of price/value, rather than suggesting fans would be tempted to other clubs by cheaper tickets.
Torquay, for example, will be charging £22 to stand in the National South next year, roughly double the normal ticket price.
I suspect a price freeze for us will be passed off as some kind of compensatory gesture.

NathStPaul Would like us to heavily reduce the costs for midweek games, we have to get people in through the gate. It has been awful for a few seasons now, even when we have been doing relatively well.

Clyde1998 I think the club need to have a little more imagination when it comes to midweek tickets to encourage higher crowds.

I’ve thought for a while the club should sell weekend season tickets (ie. season tickets only for games played on Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays), especially for the younger age groups. This would minimise the number of seats ‘sold but vacant’ during midweek and perhaps encourage more people who can’t get to midweek games due to work commitments to be ‘locked in’ for the season.
The club could do offers with local businesses (eg. those in Green Park) for reduced price tickets to increase attendances during midweek.
I think the club need to have a little more imagination when it comes to midweek tickets to encourage higher crowds.
