Just book your seat in the South Stand. You can stand up all game long there if you want and the Stewards will do nothing to stop you...

This will never happen. When seated, everyone is constantly visible on cctv to the stadium safety team. Not only that, but troublesome individuals are limited in their positioning by other people. If it was free standing with people moving about all over the place, it would be a nightmare to catch, identify and apprehend anyone comiting an offence.

It is happening though. And standing is happening even without it. I've stood virtually all game every game this season.

You do what the Germans tend to do, and put the home terrace at the opposite end from the away end.

That way there's very little that the home fans on that terrace will do that'll need policing.

Take the problems in Y26. The stewards only walk up for two reasons, either people standing up (which would no longer be an issue) or people having a go at the away fans, which wouldn't be a problem if the away fans were 130 yards away.
