Harpers So Solid Crew Well feck you MAn City, they have released the 2nd Tier on the opposite end, so basically they sold the seats around the RFC fans and held that area back, total pcunts.

'greed if true.

As I said in an earlier post, there were 10,000 possible tickets still remaining for the tie, due the seats possibly in the upper tier, less than 400 around the rest of the ground and level 2 of the North stand which hadn't even gone on sale.

City always planned to sell the tickets all around the Reading fans first as soon as we only asked for 2,800. It is the most popular place in the ground for home fans in league matches and we have only asked for a league allocation.

So popular that the 2nd tier next to the RFC fans sold slower, I think it stinks of total selfishness, and a comment should go to Man C for arranging it like this, I dont care if that is the most popular area for City fans, pure decency should have meant that they left it clear, that way either set of fans could have had it demand allowing, then none of this criticism of either club would have occurred.

Man C can only sell a certain no of ST, that stand should be clear of ST same as we do at RFC.

Whichever way we look at it, you're right it was selfishness by both clubs purely down to financial implications, which have now dramatically backfired and could/will end up costing the clubs money.

Can't see that either club really had the fans best interests at heart.

can anyone actually get through on the phone line, i either get static or there is a fault on the line message.

I have ordered tickets online but no ability to get the coach ticket.

why would it be so difficult to add a tick box to the website to get a coach ticket.

southbank1871 Firstly, thank fukk I bottled booking my train tickets on Friday on the assumption that we would get a further allocation. I had a sneaking suspicion there would be some sort of balls up.

Massive +1

The only way to ease the pain is a Super Sunday all dayer.

Pub roast
England v Scotland
Reading v Man City
The smug feeling when it's all over that a quick tube or can ride and your are home, rather than messing about with coaches and trains

Would still rather be there mind, but intend to make the most of my plan B Sunday instead.

I've been on hold since about 5 past 9 on two phones, so I hope, eventually, I'll get through!

I'll return that +1 Sealers, as that's exactly what I'll be doing. Going to have to convince a pub round by me to turn over from the rugby straight away after it's finished though.

Can we have a separate thread for people who've managed to get tickets please? This thread should be reserved for plastics like me throwing their toys out of the pram for not getting one.

Just wondered what our record is for posts and views on a thread in the space of a few days and whether we took threads on Scunthorpe away and Didcot into consideration for calculating this? :D

Yes that is critcial. Any pub that considers itself a decent venue for sport watching should be all over the channel switch. But yes it will be essential to brief the landlord in advance.

Agreed, that's pretty poor of Man City, it's almost like they have deliberately closed down the option of Reading to come back for more at the earliest possible opportunity.

Man City - 2/10

Reading - 0/10
