leicsRoyal I don't think it's fuss over nothing.

I think tomorrow will be the busy day.

How many members do you think hold between 600-1599 points compared to those over 1600?

As mentioned before, there will also be plenty holding back to make sure they are seated together.

Will be very surprised if we don't sell out tomorrow but I hope we don't!

I think were sell out a few hours after they come out at 12am

agreed

What was the panic first thing this morning...Did all the early bookers want seats at the front?

No problem 4 tickets secured in no time at all.

Hopefully the club will make an announcement at close of business today how many tickets are left to give everybody who qualifies a fighting chance.

It would also help if they indicated how many members have above 600 points.

FTR I think people who are holding back so they can get seats next to those who don't have 1600 points are crazy. You may well end up with none of you going.

Just phoned to sort out my bus passes. Straight through.

Can't imagine they'll shift many between now and midnight. Maybe another little spike in the few hours after work finishes, but there should be loads left for the midnight bunfight.

I just meant fuss over nothing with regards to the 1600+ people having trouble booking today. I don't think this is the case. Got my tickets & travel vouchers pretty damn easily.

Why the midnight release? Will Talent Sport(?) or RFC staff be on hand to reboot the servers?

A 9am start would be fairer on those queuing in the cold too.

RFC will probably take the server down at COB today and bring it back up for operation at 9am on Tuesday morning just to pi** the fans off even more.

Agreed, there is no way the club can have above 2,800 fans with above 1600 points that want a ticket, so plenty to go round that group. As for the next group, now that's another matter and I think the club should really do all they can to make it a fair level playing field, but you just know it's going to Oxf@rd up.
I'm not in either group by the way!

You would hope they would do that. My mood over this will not be improved if I have to get up at midnight and waste an hour trying to get tickets, only to find out that they had sold out long before!

Maybe the midnight release is because they can't find a way to change over (as opposed to switch on in the first place) at any other time.

I was in the US when the Stevenage tickets came out and happened to be browsing HNA at just after midnight UK time when a Hob Nobber mentioned he had just managed to buy tickets (despite the fact that the next band wasn't due to start until 9.00am the following morning). Sure enough, when I tried, I was also successful - some 8 hours before the official time that my band was due to kick in!

But that's what being friends is all about! One for all, all for one - we're in altogether or not at all.

That explains it. I think they should make us queue - I was digging out my tent and thermos until I saw it was 12-01am. Much fairer than random server picking.
Ticket office staff will have to come in well before 9am to sort out the online bookings before they open the ticket office doors.

Just renewed my ST and became part of the elite 1600+ group. Was going to do it anyway this month so thought I might as well do it today to make sure of a City ticket.

Has anyone with less than 1600 RPs tried getting a ticket online? I've only got 1244 but went online ten minutes back and was offered a choice of upper or lower tier!

Looking back to see how this post started on page 1 and found it a bit ironic that this forum announced what it took the club over another 2 days to do.

Also some very valid points that are now beginning to ring true.
