PieEater Got an email and text to warn me about the 5pm deadline today.

Shall I?

Definitely

I think all these people not renewing it will end up just regretting it. Things aren't THAT bad, just a bit in limbo at the minute.

Spot on. At lunchtime today, a chap in the ticket office said that season ticket sales were now "slightly up" when compared to this time last year. At the end of the day, the season tickets are good value, and if anything else we probably have an interesting season ahead of us.

I just look at teams like Middlesbrough and Derby who endured some less impressive seasons before recovering and challenging at the top again, sure we could keep going the wrong way but there's always the possibility our fortunes will eventually improve again.

Maneki Neko Bollox. Forgot to renew :D

You have to renew your bollocks?

As for tickets renewals, I don't somehow think people will need to rush this year.

Can you buy new tickets yet? I wanted to check availability for Y25, as it was virtually sold out to season ticket holders last season* so it'd be interesting to compare with what's available to buy. I checked on the OS site, but all I got was a blank page

*or is it still "this" season?

I'm aware of several (off HNA) who haven't renewed so suspect that missing the deadline won't be such an issue. Might be some prime East Stand seats available for movers week as well.

Why would we regret it? It's not like it means we can't go to matches if we choose to.

Great point, STs are some of the best value in the league for a club down south that aint bad. Im not surprised sales are up tbh I am looking forward to next season as honestly no idea what to expect but looking forward to N'castle, Villa, Burton coming to the Mad stad :D

Currently I do, I'm expecting that to change in the next few days when I hear from the club, but it might not.

True, but you could aways take a season off and return when things are on the up again.

I renewed having worked out I can miss 8 games and not be out of pocket, I expect I won't miss any but it was the decider.

Confirmed that sales are on the up from this time last season.

Season Ticket sales exceed 2015 renewal deadline figure

At 5pm on Friday, the Season Ticket renewal period came to an end.

A direct comparison between the number of Season Tickets sold at the point of renewal deadline in 2015 and the number sold at the same deadline this summer, reveals that sales are up ahead of the 2016-17 season.

Calling bullshit.

Didn't someone claim ST sales were down on last year before BM was sacked? Doubt they've risen that quickly especially with no manager in place..

Interesting that the club have not stated how many tickets have been sold. What are they trying to hide?

IMO Most people renew their ST in the final week, thereby keeping their money in their account a month longer or deferring their credit card payment an extra month - it's good financial planning. I therefore expect ticket sales to have peaked in the final week regardless of whether Brian was sacked or not.
