Reading V Liverpool / Carling Cup

by URZZ » 26 Sep 2006 16:45

A couple of my friends want to come to this game with me but they aren't members of Reading Football Club, so therefore they don't have membership cards...

Will it still be okay for them to get tickets?

Why don't they apply for member cards?

Well, you'll have to wait for general sale. Next.

Tickets should go to general sale, unless there is an unexpected mad dash for Carling Cup tickets because it's at Anfield.

I'll meet you up there if you go, let me know.

Crewe v Man U bound to be one of the televised matches - could the other one be ours? Or are they likely to go for an all Premiership fixture like Blackburn v Chelsea

Oh - wait a minute .............

One would hope SKY would cover games that feature at least one side which can be bothered to try and win rather than Premiership reserve teams trying to outbore each other!

Tickets and prices now up on the official site along with sales dates. DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT buy a ticket with the severely restricted views, it is nigh on impossible to see anything sat in these due to the overhang of the tier above

I will most probably be able to get three people tickets, if they want.

How many points do we get for this game?

My cup ticket says "Reserved" online. I didn't tick the cup ticket box on the form, so I guess this is just there so I know I can have one if needed?

Like the Seat plaque?

If you have an away season ticket, then you have agreed to buying every away cup game as well.

Do you have an Away Season Ticket?

If you have an Away Season Ticket then you will automatically get a Liverpool v Reading (Carling Cup) ticket in the worst possible seating area.

As far as I know anyone who ticked the Home Cup tickets box will not automatically get get a Liverpool v Reading (Carling Cup) ticket.

To be fair Warfield, all of my away ST's so far have been plum behind the goal about half way up. Not a bad seat yet

Not sure if I can afford to go to this.

No trains coming back, another overnight stay and time off work.
