461 points is the magic number!

by riverroyal » 24 Oct 2006 14:18

So Liverpool away is all sold out.

If you had 461 or more you would have got one.

Fair play to the club, by far the fairest way of issuing the tickets.

Anyway, the morale of all this is that is you have less than 461 now you can forget going the Emirates or Old Trafford!

650+ means I'm guaranteed a ticket.

Surely it depends on the size of allocation and I have no idea what that is at the Emirates or Old Trafford. If the allocations are bigger than less than 461 point would be required and vice versa.

Interesting that you mention the size of the allocation. I was disappointed to find out that Liverpool only allocated us 3008 tickets. Pretty small.

About 100 odd. Plus the Airhostesses, so a fair amount.

I guess the figure may be higher than that for the Emirates and probably Stamford Bridge too. Not sure if my 540 will get me a ticket.

The timing of the OT game (30th Dec) may deter a few from going.

I am not going to that one. Don't like prawns.

I think i read somewhere once that Premier League clubs had to allocate either:

a) 3,000 tickets to away fans

or

b) 10% of the capacity

I think you will find most of the 'big' clubs will give just 3,000.

Even though I'm sub 400 points I'd rather see us fill an allocation of 3,000 than see empty seats.

Chelsea have been allocated 3,110 tickets at Old Trafford.

Liverpool have been allocated 2,954 at the Emirates.

You got a Liverpool ticket though.

Maybe you'll get an Arsenal or Chelsea one the same way.
