away tickets for fulham

by kirkrich » 29 Oct 2007 11:18

I don't go to many away games these days but would like to go to see the Fulham match. If I buy tickets online, do they send me paper tickets and do I have to pick them up from the Mad stad (which is impossible for me). Also as the post is so unreliable, what happens if they don't arrive on time, is it just tough world? Sorry to ask these questions but someone on here will know the answers!

You can't order away tickets online I'm afraid. It'll have to be a phone call but they will post them.

As far as non-arrival, some clubs will happily produce duplicates on the day with proof of purchase but some say tough sh!t mate.

Yes they will send you paper tickets (theoretically at clubs usingt he same ticketing system as us they could load tickets on your member card for away games but I can only recall this happening once)

You could collect, or get someone to collect for you.

If you can't collect then you'll have to trust the postal service. There are usually fall backs where if a ticket doesn;t arrive a reprint can be done. Best order early !

You can buy away tickets online, I've bought all mine this season via the Net. Not sure why they're not available to purchase though at the moment, but another 500 were due to go onsale today.

They are available - just been on the site and it all seems to be working.

I went down there in person and they gave me tickets in row C. Asked if they had any further back and they dug some out in row FF.

That's why I prefer to buy in person.

If they don't arrive by Thursday contact Reading, don't expect to roll up at Fulham on Saturday and get a reprint !

I went to buy in person on Saturday and was told they had sold out the initial allocation and not received the second allocation from Fulham. They took my order and will send tickets - seats being allocated in the order they are processed. So know idea where we will end up.

Fulhams support is so poor I thought they had a nuetral area which they advertise on the radio, so if you don't get one you could try that.

How bizarre... I bought my Fulham ticket at about 12pm on Saturday, from the Sales Centre, even getting to choose the ticket (seat) I wanted from a pile of what was about, I guess, a couple of hundred??

I believe it's sold out.

Was quite good in there last year. Mix of Reading, Fulham and neutrals.

Well that is what they said at about 1:45. So either a. a run on tickets or b. incompetence.

Experience suggests which one I would bet on.
