How many season tickets were sold?

by riverroyal » 06 Apr 2009 08:50

Does anyone know how many season tickets were sold for next season? Apparently Norwich have sold something like 18,000

That's because one guy went to get tickets for himself and his relations and came back with 18,000.

The club would say "WTF has it got to do with you? That's our business!"

More likely they are not saying if it is not a good figure.

Perhaps, but they're quick enough to crow when they've sold shitloads.

If you ask they may still let you renew at that price. In past season they've often allowed renewals for a couple of days after the deadline, if they're still processing applications.

No guarantees, but it never hurts to ask them .....

I reckon they'll still be the same at the end of the season too, courtesy of the team/management's now traditional post Xmas drop off!

They'd better not be the same price. I thought the club advertised the fact that you could ONLY get tickets at that price if you renewed BEFORE 3 April.

They certainly, absolutely, 100% will not be any cheaper to buy than they were in the "early-bird" period.

The offer was pretty clear - renew at this season's price irrespective of what division we are in next season.

No guarantee that prices would rise if we stay in the Championship but a stated price of (IIRC) £515 if we go up.

Did anyone really think that the club were committing to a price increase if we don't go up ?

Not at all, as with every year this offer is made the only discount is if we get promoted
